Our Services
At Aero Works, we offer practical cutting, welding, fabrication and prototyping services for customers who need custom parts, repairs or once-off solutions. From precision laser welding to CNC and laser cutting, we help turn sketches, drawings and ideas into finished parts.
Laser Welding
Laser welding is ideal for precision metal work where clean, accurate and controlled welds are required. It uses a concentrated laser beam to fuse the material, allowing us to weld neatly with a smaller heat-affected area compared to many traditional welding methods.
This means less distortion, cleaner welds and better control, especially on thinner materials, detailed parts and precision fabrication work. When the material is prepared correctly and the correct weld settings are used, laser welding produces strong, reliable welds suitable for many aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel applications.
At Aero Works, we use laser welding for a large part of our metal work because it allows us to produce neat, accurate welds with a clean finish. It is well suited for custom brackets, panels, repairs, aluminium work, stainless steel parts, light fabrication and precision components.
Suitable for:
Aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, thin material, brackets, panels, repairs, custom components, precision fabrication and light fabrication work.
CNC Cutting
Our CNC cutting service is ideal for accurate and repeatable cutting work on flat-sheet materials. It is well suited for custom panels, templates, brackets, signs, prototype parts and practical workshop components that need to be cut neatly and consistently.
CNC cutting is a great option when you need a clean, usable part made from a drawing, sketch, sample or design. It allows us to produce repeatable parts with good accuracy, making it useful for once-off projects, small production runs and custom fabrication work.
At Aero Works, we can assist with CNC cutting for projects such as panels, templates, signage, brackets, wooden parts, marine ply parts, workshop components, jigs, model parts, boat-related parts and custom flat components.
We can also assist with the design work. Whether you have a sketch, photo, idea, sample part or basic measurements, we can help prepare the design for CNC cutting.
Whether you need a once-off custom part, a repeatable template, a prototype or a set of matching components, CNC cutting gives you a practical way to turn your idea into a clean finished part.
Forged Carbon Fiber
Our forged carbon fiber service is ideal for creating strong, lightweight and unique custom parts with a premium finish. Forged carbon has a distinctive patterned look and is well suited for parts where strength, weight saving and appearance are important.
Forged carbon fiber is a great option for custom components, covers, panels, brackets, decorative parts and one-off pieces. Unlike traditional woven carbon fiber, forged carbon has a more random, marble-like finish, giving every part its own unique look.
At Aero Works, we can assist with forged carbon fiber work for projects such as custom trim pieces, brackets, covers, panels, RC parts, paramotor parts, automotive accessories, marine accessories, display pieces and lightweight custom components.
We can also assist with the design work. Whether you have a sketch, sample part, idea, measurements or a 3D-printed prototype, we can help prepare the part or mould for the forged carbon fiber process.
Forged carbon fiber is perfect for customers who want something lightweight, strong and different from standard metal or plastic parts, while still having a high-end custom appearance.
3D Printing
Our 3D printing service is ideal for creating prototypes, custom parts, brackets, covers, small components and replacement items. It is a practical option when you need a part made quickly, want to test a design, or need a custom shape that is difficult to make by hand.
3D printing is especially useful for design testing and fitment checks before moving to final production. It allows you to turn an idea, sketch or sample part into a physical item that can be checked, adjusted and improved before committing to a final version.
At Aero Works, we can assist with 3D printing for projects such as prototypes, brackets, spacers, clips, covers, mounts, templates, jigs, small replacement parts, model parts, RC components, workshop parts and custom plastic components.
We can also assist with the design work. Whether you have a sketch, photo, idea, sample part or basic measurements, we can help prepare the design for 3D printing.
Whether you need a once-off part, a prototype, a test piece or a small batch of custom components, 3D printing gives you a practical way to turn your idea into a usable part.
2-Stroke Boat Engine Services
At Aero Works, we also assist with selected 2-stroke boat engine service and repair work. This is ideal for customers who need practical fault finding, carburettor cleaning, basic servicing, setup checks or help getting an engine running reliably again.
2-stroke engines need the correct fuel mixture, clean fuel supply, good compression, proper spark and correctly set carburettors to run properly. Small issues such as blocked jets, old fuel, air leaks, worn plugs or incorrect settings can cause hard starting, poor idling, loss of power or unreliable running.
We can assist with work such as carburettor cleaning, fuel system checks, spark plug replacement, basic fault finding, starting issues, idle problems, general inspection, service checks and advice on setup.
This service is best suited for smaller 2-stroke outboard engines and practical maintenance work rather than major engine rebuilds.
CAD Design
Our CAD design service helps turn your idea, sketch, sample part or measurements into a usable digital design for manufacturing. This is ideal for customers who need a part designed before it can be laser cut, CNC cut, 3D printed or fabricated.
CAD design is useful when you need accurate drawings, repeatable parts, templates, brackets, panels, prototypes or custom components made to specific measurements. It also allows us to check fitment, make changes and prepare the design properly before manufacturing starts.
At Aero Works, we can assist with CAD design for projects such as custom brackets, panels, templates, laser cutting files, CNC cutting files, 3D printing files, prototypes, replacement parts, jigs, fixtures, workshop components, RC parts, boat parts and custom fabrication work.
Whether you have a rough idea, a hand-drawn sketch, a photo, an existing part or basic dimensions, we can help develop it into a practical design ready for production.
Laser Cutting, Engraving & Design Work
Our laser cutting service is ideal for clean, accurate and repeatable cutting work on selected non-metal flat-sheet materials. It allows us to cut detailed shapes, patterns, templates and parts with a neat finish, making it perfect for practical workshop use, creative projects and custom designs.
Our laser cutting work area is 1200 mm x 900 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of custom parts, templates, signs, panels and project work.
We can also assist with the design work. Whether you have a sketch, photo, idea, sample part or basic measurements, we can help prepare the design for cutting or engraving.
Laser cutting is a great option when you need parts that are consistent, accurate and ready to use. It is especially useful for templates, custom shapes, small production runs, craft work and parts that are difficult or time-consuming to cut by hand.
At Aero Works, we can assist with projects such as custom gaskets, marine ply parts, RC aircraft parts, craft items, signage, templates, model parts, decorative panels, foam board projects, MDF parts, cork items, packaging inserts and custom flat components.
It is also perfect for boat-related work, such as cutting marine ply framing or base shapes for custom boat parts. For example, if you are building a centre console, hatch, panel, mould base or custom structure, we can cut the basic shape from marine ply, which can then be fiberglassed over to create a strong finished part.
We also offer engraving for custom designs, branding, labels, tags and aluminium business cards, giving your project or product a clean and professional finish.
Materials we can cut include:
MDF, marine ply, plywood, foam board, cork, gasket material, cardboard, leather, fabric, balsa wood and other suitable non-metal materials.
Whether you need a once-off part, a prototype, a template, repeatable cut pieces, custom engraving or help with the design, laser cutting and engraving gives you a clean and practical way to turn your idea into a usable finished product.
